Melodia a fost tema filmului “Modern Times”, avandu-l in rol principal pe Charlie Chaplin. Chaplin a compus muzica, in timp ce versuri au fost adaugate mai tarziu de John Turner si Geoffrey Parsons. Melodia a fost intrepretata, printre altii, de Michael Jackson, Nat’King’Cole, Natalie Cole.
